Italian and Cookery Course in Pisa, Italy
What better way to learn the practical skills of Italian cookery than in the home of a friendly Italian family in the gorgeous city of Pisa? You’ll not only learn how to cook some classic Italian dishes, but also learn about the Tuscan lifestyle and the Italian food culture! On this course, you’ll learn to prepare simple dishes of Italian cuisine, such as homemade pasta, Tuscan soups, Tuscan bruschetta, pizza and tiramisu.
You’ll also be learning the beautiful Italian language in conjunction with your cooking course — allowing you to delve into Italian gastronomy as you experience the charms of the ancient city of Pisa.

Cookery course
Pasta, bread, pizza and typical Italian stews…this cultural enrichment course really does give you the grounding to create great dishes back home for your family and friends! Your cookery lessons will take place twice a week in the evenings in the home of an Italian family. Each lesson concludes with a meal with the Italian family, plus a glass of wine or two! The cookery course can also be customized according to your dietary requirements — such as a vegetarian or vegan diet. Please note that this course must be booked in conjunction with an Italian language course.
Italian Course
Whether you’re a beginner or can carry a conversation in Italian, our school has an Italian course for you. In conjunction with your cooking class, you will have 30 Italian lessons a week during the intensive course — composed of 4 group lessons in the morning and 2 afternoon lessons.
Accommodation
There are three accommodation options for the duration of the course.
Students can opt for a single room in a shared apartment containing a shared kitchen and shared bathroom. Please note towels are not included,
If living with a local family to better immerse yourself in the language is more to your tastes, single rooms with a host family are available with breakfast only or half board options. The half board option typically includes breakfast and dinner. You will have your own key to come and go, but you must respect the house rules and schedules.
Single rooms with a private bathroom and half board are available in Residence. Residence rooms are on a half board basis — which includes breakfast and dinner.

Activities
Make the most of your course by exploring the markets, roaming the halls of a museum or witnessing the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. One afternoon activity per week is free — the only incurring cost being transport and the entry ticket payable by the student. Why not discover more of what Italy has to offer by taking up a guided visit of Florence, Cinque Terra or Lucca? Or sit back and relax in a wine tasting tour.

Transfers to and from the airport and central railway station are available at an additional cost.
