The great city of London is renowned worldwide for being a city of opportunity and growth. London contains a blend of new and old with some buildings dating back to around the 1080s. Although many buildings have been lost to fires and war, some remain standing proud with centuries of stories to tell. There are some striking feats of modern architecture in the centre of the city — like the Shard, which also happens to be the tallest building in the United Kingdom!

The city is truly postcard perfect with iconic landmarks such as the London Eye and Tower of London always camera ready for a selfie backdrop. See Big Ben and Westminster Abbey on the walk down to the famed Buckingham Palace — the royal palace of the British Monarchs.

London is the heart of English theatre, the West End being the home of top-notch professional theatre and musical theatre alike. There’ll always be a show for everyone with productions of Wicked and at least one classic Shakespeare title on one of the West End stages at any given time.

London truly is a marvellous option for an English language course — and you’ll be sure to have an enriching time during your language learning journey.
